To err is human…and I hope the readers of Mystery Shopper Magazine will forgive me. As I’ve mentioned, I’m a shopper like most of you who read this magazine. I write these articles as a labor of love, knowing that the time I spend writing is time taken away from shopping. When I research a company, I go the highlighted “Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies” at www.mysteryshopforum.com. That’s the most convenient, and time effective way, for me to search a company.
Last Monday, I received an email from a fellow shopper informing me of a discussion on www.mysteryshopforum.com regarding payment problems with Instant Replays. I found the thread and read it. I then decided to check my shop records and discovered I haven’t been paid for a shop I did in November of 2013. I feel that, to properly do justice to the issue, the best thing for me to do would be to give the link to the discussion, http://www.mysteryshopforum.com/read/6/294206.
Based on these payment issues, which appear to be widespread, I’m changing my grade on Instant Replays to D. When I was ran a business with employees and IC’s, I made sure they were paid first. I did receive payment after I made the inquiry, but the point is, there shouldn’t be the need to make the inquiry in the first place.
Again, I apologize to the readers of Mystery Shopper Magazine for this lack of due diligence on my part.
Sincerely,
James Bond
