Personal Experience: I’ve completed about a dozen shops for this MSC since I began video shopping in April of this year. The schedulers are absolutely amazing to work with, as is typical of all the major players in video shopping. Communication, which is the key to successful video shops is wonderful. If I needed a scheduler on a shop, they were only a phone call away. I’ve never had the occasion of not being able to reach a scheduler when needed. Also, with my first shops, I was on the phone with several individuals for close to an hour [at their request], to go over the nuances of what was expected and the information I needed to make sure I had for each shop.
Also, when I was trying to plan a route, it was nice to be able to correspond with a scheduler on a regular basis to be able to put a route together.
What Others Have to Say: Impact Marketing understands that a video shop is pretty much designed to stand on its own merits. When asked on www.mysteryshopforum.com how intensive their reports were, one shopper replied, “About 5 minutes long and web-based. Not terribly intensive at all.”
Overall: There are no negative comments about Impact Marketing on www.mysteryshopforum.com. The company pays well and as advertised. If you’re a video shopper, Impact Marketing should be on your list.
Update (December 2, 2013): In Issue 36 of Mystery Shopper Magazine we reviewed Impact Marketing. One complaint, which I did not mention at the time because it is relatively minor, is that their checks say, “It’s A Mystery dba Impact Marketing.” There was concern expressed that such a check would out you at the bank where you deposited it.
