What Others Have to Say: In general, the reports for TNS have been positive. They pay by check and have generally been on time. Earlier this year there was a problem when the company apparently changed their accounting system which caused checks to be delayed. They were proactive in notifying shoppers that there would be a delay and only a few complaints were noted.
Overall: The company gets points for being proactive when discovering there would be a delay in payments arriving. There was also another instance where duplicate checks were sent out and some shoppers decided to deposit both checks. The shoppers incurred returned check fees on one of the checks, since it was declined. TNS went ahead and covered those fees even though, as a majority of the shoppers commented, they were under no obligation to do so as the shoppers should have realized they were receiving duplicate payments.
It was also noted by some shoppers that the schedulers with TNS do tend to be “nicer than some with other companies.”
