If you are a mystery shopper looking for a no-nonsense, “Git ‘Er Done” kind of assignment, look no further, your opportunity has arrived. According to Ellis, a mystery shopping company located in Irving, Texas, “Merchandising jobs usually have set hours and days and involve replacing store products and setting up store displays.” These positions usually involve regular visits to multiple store locations to ensure products are fully stocked, inspected, and organized.
Becoming a merchandiser is a terrific way of supplementing a mystery shopper’s income because it provides an additional revenue stream on top of your regular side hustle. One advantage of working as a merchandiser is that there is very little interaction between employees and customers. This will allow shoppers to concentrate on arriving at the job and knocking it out as quickly (or slowly) as needed.
The Mystery Shop Forum is the online leader for providing mystery shoppers with a community resource to connect, network, and assist others to be successful in the mystery shopping industry. Today’s job posting has, “quick and easy merchandising assignments available…You will visit an apartment, condominium, or senior living location, and deliver and/or display marketing flyers, posters in the location’s office or common areas.” These jobs are immediately available and would need to be completed Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 am to 4 pm.
For those shoppers who really enjoy these kinds of assignments, there is good news! This mystery shopping company will be offering these positions on an ongoing basis; approximately three to four times per year. There are multiple locations where these merchandising shops are available and I encourage you to click here, to see if there is an opportunity near you.

Are there any opportunities in Toronto, Canada?
With the minimum wage set at $14.00/hour in Ontario, Canada, I have noticed that compensation for most of the mystery shops seems to be quite low. The rates paid to the shoppers have not changed in several years. When you add in administration costs for computer, paper, time for printing instructions, the ROI seem too low.
