Grassroots America, a division of Grass Roots Group, recently announced that it has ceased operations as of March 31st, 2015. The change follows less than one month after a change in leadership in the parent company.
All signs currently show that mystery shoppers should expect payment for the assignments they completed while the division was still in operation. A notice has been posted on the Grass Roots America website, directing questions to a dedicated phone number.
“Grass Roots America has ceased operations as of March 31, 2015. If you have any questions, please call (305) 674-7677 and leave us a detailed message and we will do our best to respond to your inquiry as soon as practicable.”
Unfortunately, the voicemail box appears to be full, so shoppers are unable to leave a message.
If you are able to get through, mystery shoppers should not expect an immediate call back. There are currently several discussions on Mystery Shop Forum tracking the situation.
The parent company is still in operation. There seems to be a lack of communication from the parent company regarding payments owed to mystery shoppers.
