How to Get into Amusement Parks for Free by Mystery Shopping

Company Overview: According to their website, Amusement Advantage has been the “Exclusive member to the attractions industry since 1996.” The mystery shopping company was founded by Scot and Christine Carson out of their passion for the amusement park industry. Amusement Advantage is based out of Arvada, Colorado but has mystery shoppers and accounts located all over the United States and Canada. Some of their accounts consist of theme parks, water parks, museums, science centers, zoos, aquariums and any other tourism-related facility.

How to Sign Up and Get Assignments: Signing up to become a mystery shopper for Amusement Advantage is straight-forward and simple. Go to www.amusementadvantage.com and click on “Become a Shopper” located on the top left-hand side of the homepage. You will then be prompted to complete a “New Shopper Application” which will take about 15 to 30 minutes to complete. Please note that all applications must be submitted online.

What Others Have to Say: There has been some positive feedback about the schedulers at Amusement Advantage from the Mystery Shop Forum that can be found here. Also, they have been posting a lot of assignments lately on the Mystery Shop Forum under the tab, “Mystery Shopping Job Board” that shoppers may be interested in learning more about.

Personal Experience:  Although I have not personally performed mystery shopping assignments for Amusement Advantage, they seem to have a solid following. They offer mystery shopping opportunities all across the country and are one of the most popular companies due to being fully dedicated to serving the amusement industry.

Conclusion: Amusement Advantage appears to be reputable, well respected, and overall a fun company to perform mystery shopping assignments for. The fact that they are a confirmed member of the MSPA is always a great sign that shows they are a trusted company. They have been featured in many press releases and magazines that can be found here on their website. I would recommend signing up for their assignments to check out some of their amusement-based shops.
